The Malayalam superhit Ustad Hotel that brought Mammootty's son Dulquer Salmaan to the limelight in Mollywood is coming to Tamil. Vikram Prabhu, whose Kumki became a superhit, has been roped in for the lead role in the movie. Sarathkumar is likely to do the role immortalized by Thilakan in the original.Directed by Anwar Rasheed and written by Anjali Menon, Ustad Hotel brought about a change in Malayalam movies and proved that even small time movies with a strong storyline can make it big at the boxoffice.Ustad Hotel won the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment, Best Screenplay for Anjali Menon and a Special Mention for Thilakan, at the 60th National Film Awards (2012).
